1. By brand
High-end brands: world-renowned teddy bear brands, such as the Big Three German teddy bears, Hermann Spielwaren, Steiff Clemens. There are also Grisly and Martin from Germany, Merrythought from the United Kingdom, and R.John Wright from the United States (good at face modeling teddy bears).
Middle and low-end brands: American ty, Boyds, Gund, Canada Ganz, South Korea AURORA, etc.
2. By price
Of course, the more expensive the better, after all, you get what you pay for.
3. By material
Good Bear’s fabrics are high-grade Angora goat hair and South American alpaca wool, and the bear’s eyes are handmade glass eyes from the German city of Lauschaer. There is now a trend to use plastic eyes, which are also called safety eyes because they are not easily broken. Whether using glass or plastic eyes, bears have pupils in their eyes. The inner filling is wool, wood shavings, etc.
The fabric of ordinary bears is artificial hair. At present, the quality of artificial hair in South Korea is very good and the price is not expensive. The inner filling is fluffy cotton, etc. Bears have plastic eyes, usually without pupils.
4. By structure
The good bear has joints, and the head and limbs are equipped with plastic joints or paper joints, which can rotate 360 degrees. Ordinary bears do not have joints, but the trend is that ordinary bears also have joints. Therefore, we can say that a bear with joints is not necessarily a good bear, but a good bear must have joints.
5. By work points
Good bears are hand-made works of art, normal bears are machine-made industrial products.
